DESCRIPTION
ADOLFO FERRER AMBLAR (Valencia, 1906 - 1993).

Measurements: 40 x 31,50 cm, 54 x 45,50 cm (frame).
Formed in the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos of Valencia, finishing with the highest qualifications and being named at the age of 25 years, professor of drawing of clothes in the Superior School of San Fernando in Madrid, besides being professor in the School of Arts and Trades of Valencia. His vocation comes from a young age, being his father, also an artist Pedro Ferrer Calatayud, who instilled in him the artistic vocation and guided him in his training. His career would also expand into the field of scenography and illustration, collaborating with "Las Provincias", "La Correspondencia Valenciana", as well as "La Voz Valenciana". He was a great draftsman, demonstrating it since the beginning of his career, being his portraits very requested and appreciated due to his polished technique and personality, since his work was never carried away by the "isms" or the trends of the moment. His work is mainly represented by the Museum of Fine Arts of Valencia, as well as belonging to private collections.
