Maria Gomez began her artistic training at the School of Fine Arts of San Jorge in Barcelona, although years later she continued at the School of Fine Arts of San Fernando in Madrid. She began her exhibition career in the 70's in renowned art spaces such as the Tebas Gallery and the Casa de Velázquez. In 1980 he obtained a scholarship and studied engraving with Bruno Müller in Paris.
