Cristòfol Almirall was a renowned painter and artist. From an early age, he showed a great passion for drawing and painting. His first studio was the dovecote of the family home, where he developed his self-taught skills in art. In addition, he was in contact with the local painters of the time and looked for inspiration in the Ribes stream. At the age of 15, Cristòfol began working in the workshop of the renowned painter Francoise Bussi, in Can Ralet. Over time, his dedication and talent led him to hold his first exhibition at La Caixa de Sant Pere de Ribes in 1969, and later at the cultural and sports organization GER in 1972. During the 1970s, his works were exhibited in various locations such as Sant Pere de Ribes, Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltrú, until he was assigned to Melilla for his military service. After finishing his military service, Cristòfol returned to his hometown and began to work as a wall painter. In 1975, he married Leonardi Calendario Moreno and they started a family, being blessed with two daughters, Rita and Iolanda.
