The scene that develops in a space in which the interior is combined with a wide exterior landscape of ochre tonalities sprinkled of the green of the vegetation. In style and technique we appreciate the characteristics of traditional Japanese painting: the combination of ink and watercolor, flat inks, the absence of volume or chiaroscuro, the preeminence of drawing, of the clean and descriptive line, and also the dynamic composition, with which they achieve spontaneous scenes without resorting to compositional artifice. The diversity of uniforms and weapons indicate a clear evolution from the most autochthonous, the samurai, to bayonets and western weaponry.
