Work belonging to the project "Interventions: on the public and private subject", a project by Antoni Muntadas designed and produced specifically for Serralves House in 1992.
Trained at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales in Barcelona and at the Pratt Graphic Center in New York, Antoni Muntadas' work is based on the use of new audiovisual technologies and the way they interrelate and interact with the viewer. In 2005, Muntadas represented Spain at the Venice Art Biennale. In 2009 he worked on an interactive installation for the Mies van der Rohe Pavilion in Barcelona, in which he uses smell as a form of expression. Throughout his career as an artist, Antoni Muntadas has received the Premio Nacional de Artes Plásticas (2005) and the Premio Velázquez (2009).
