The Huaca Piru line by Hermès, designed by Sophie Koechlin and first released in 1997, is inspired by the pre-Columbian cultures of Peru and their symbolic imagery. The design features a structured composition with geometric motifs, stylized figures and references to Andean iconography. The layout, of great graphic strength and ornamental rhythm, evokes the reliefs and textiles of these civilizations.
