The Dông Son drums are one of the most outstanding manifestations of this culture, known for their detailed decoration. These drums were mainly used for warfare, although they also had a ceremonial use. The Dông Son culture was skilled in bronze casting using the lost-wax casting method. The influence of this culture spread to other parts of Southeast Asia.
