Tiso's artistic training began in Paris, where he studied Fine Arts. From 1966 to 1970 he specialized in decoration and advertising, fields to which he dedicated himself professionally until 1992. In 1993, "Tiso" immersed himself in the world of watercolor, joining the Agrupació Aquarel-listes de Catalunya. His talent was quickly recognized: in 1995 he received the prestigious "Guarro Casas" award from the Agrupació d'Aquarel-listes de Catalunya and in 1996, he was invited to participate in the artistic contest of the 50th anniversary of UNICEF at the Palau Robert in Barcelona, and was also selected in the II Concurs de Pintura Agrupació Mutua. His work is part of the Fons d'Art de la Agrupació Mutua de Barcelona and the Fons d'Art Pelikan España.
