The acronym SEU refers to the Sindicato Español Universitario, a student organization created in 1933 that, during the war, aligned itself with the rebel side. The shield in the center of the poster, with an eagle and a chessboard, was the emblem of the SEU. The poster uses the slogan "Study and Action" to encourage students to join the organization, combining intellectual training with political activism and militancy.
