Painting of landscape framing resolved with swift and generous stroke in matter. Under a limpid and luminous sky, almost turquoise, sprinkled of light clouds, the village life unfolds next to a row of white, whitewashed houses, with tile roofs. Horses, chickens and peasants are depicted with great economy of means, in an impressionistic language.
