The still life occupied a fundamental place in the artistic trajectory of Vicente Giner, closely linked to his vital experience and his early coexistence with the world of the family pastel. This genre allowed him to develop a meticulous and sensitive look at everyday objects, exploring light, matter and composition with great technical rigor. Throughout his career, the still life became a space for plastic research and personal affirmation, consolidating itself as one of the pillars of his pictorial language and as one of the most recognizable contributions of his artistic production.
Vicente Giner trained artistically with Francisco Climent between 1948 and 1957, combining his vocation with the family business. After joining the SAIT group and holding his first individual exhibition in 1960, he began a career of growing national and international projection. In 1967 he was appointed copyist of the Prado Museum and, from 1971, he devoted himself fully to painting, exhibiting in Spain and in cities such as New York, Paris and Geneva, and receiving numerous awards and recognitions throughout his career.
