Trained in Fine Arts at the Escuela Superior de San Carlos de Valencia, José Esteve exhibits regularly in numerous Spanish galleries, in Madrid, Seville, Valencia, and in international venues such as the Chicago International Art Fair (1991). Among some of his greatest achievements, it is worth mentioning the BMW Award he won on October 7, 1994. His style is reminiscent of Francisco Lozano (1912-2000), his closest teacher, and refers to Cézanne. The result, works of arid atmospheres in which the brown colors of nature predominate.
