Lively coastal scene that represents the arrival of fishing boats to the shore, with fishermen, draught animals and popular figures participating in the tasks of the landing. The activity of the characters and the movement of the lateen sail boats create a dynamic and lively scene.

The work clearly reflects the luminist tradition of Valencian painting, in which Navarro Llorens developed a language close to that of his contemporary Joaquín Sorolla, with whom he shared friendship and artistic sensitivity. The intense Mediterranean luminosity, the vibrant treatment of water and the rapid brushstrokes recall their common interest in capturing the daily life of the Levantine coast and the changing effects of light on the sea.
