Martin Mugnolo is a painter whose work is situated between contemporary hyperrealism and a poetic dimension close to surrealism. His work stands out for a refined technique, a great precision in the treatment of light and surfaces and a marked aesthetic sensibility. In his compositions he combines references to current visual culture, design and illustration with a personal look that transforms everyday scenes into suggestive images full of symbolism.

Self-taught in Fine Arts -while pursuing a degree in Communication Sciences at Blas Pascal University-, Mugnolo was also interested in design, comics, photography and animation. For more than twelve years he worked as a designer and advertising creative developing numerous campaigns.

He has exhibited his work in cities such as Buenos Aires, Cordoba, Mykonos, Marbella, Malaga, Miami, New York and Barcelona, where he currently resides. His exhibitions include Avant Gallery (Miami), where he is an exclusive artist, The Holy Art Gallery (London), Art Number 23 Gallery (Athens), IMAP Gallery (Mykonos), Galleria del Duomo (Rome), Arte BCN (Barcelona) and several galleries in Argentina and Spain. In 2009 he received the Biennial Prize of Sacred Art of Buenos Aires.
