Work belonging to the “After Miró” series, in which Lemagne’83 constructs a visual universe with playful, symbolic, and deeply chromatic roots. In “La Danza con Jirafa,” the composition is organized as an imaginary stage divided between an intense blue sky and a warm surface, where human figures, houses, stars, trees, geometric shapes, and a giraffe coexist in a scene of festive and dreamlike rhythm.

The work engages with Joan Miró’s imagery through the use of black lines, flat colors, suspended forms, and open-ended symbols, though it also incorporates a clear resonance with African pictography and primitive languages. The dancing figures, rendered in a schematic style, introduce a sense of ritual movement, while the giraffe adds a narrative and poetic accent to the composition.
