Travel or carriage clock with architectural structure elevated on plinth, with Corinthian columns with fluted shaft, base and molded entablature, and with a handle located in the upper area to allow easy transport. The piece has a white porcelain dial with Roman numerals in black and breguet type needle. It has a secondary dial. Around the dials, it has foliate decoration in the form of vegetal tracery. The side walls and the front have glass protection, as well as the rear door, hinged, allowing to see the machinery. This type of clocks were very common in the 19th century, often used for travel because of their size.

Idrac Le Roy is the name of a Parisian master watchmaker of the 19th century, known for his high quality watches, especially travel and officers' models. He had atelier in two Parisian locations: Place du Théâtre Français and Rue du Bouloi.
