Vieux Château Certan is a Bordeaux wine from the Pomerol appellation. The winery is located on the right bank of the Bordeaux wine region, in the commune of Pomerol, in the Gironde department. Like all wine produced in this appellation, Vieux Château Certan is not classified, but the estate has long been recognized as one of the great growths of the region, and by some estimates comparable to the neighboring estate Château Pétrus.
