Aguilar Moré began his training with Oleguer Junyent, and then continued his learning as a self-taught artist. He held his first exhibition at the Sala Rovira in Barcelona in 1949, and since then he has shown his work in Spain, the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Monaco and Switzerland. He has won numerous prizes and distinctions, such as the Gold Medal of the Palma de Mallorca City Council, the Sant Jordi Prize of the Diputació de Barcelona, and the Miquel Carbonell Painting Prize and the 2nd Mediterranean Games Prize. His work can be found in the Museum of Contemporary Art in Madrid, the Fine Arts and Perrot-Moore museums in Cadaqués, the Barcelona Provincial Council, the Reina Sofia Museum in Athens, the Fons d'Art in Olot and the Municipal Art Gallery in Palamós.
