A painter and draughtsman, Sebastián Llobet developed his career in Barcelona, showing his work in official exhibitions and competitions. In 1933 he took part in the exhibitions of unpublished works organised by the Círculo Artístico de Barcelona, along with other prominent artists such as Alfredo Opisso and Darius Vilàs. He also took part in the Salones de Primavera in Barcelona, and in 1960 he won the Madrid City Council Prize at the XXXI Salón de Otoño. He also worked as an illustrator, collaborating with periodicals and producing book covers such as "Els sants de la diòcesi de Barcelona", by J. Maurí Serra, in 1957. He also illustrated educational books such as the manual "Historia de España: grados elemental y medio", by J. Osés, published in 1912; "Cuentos de niñas", by M. P. Sinués, 1926; and "Prosa i vers: lectures morals i cíviques per a nois i noies", by M. Marinel-lo, 1923, among others.
