BID HISTORY
DESCRIPTION
Pair of sculptures; Hispania, Valencia, late 19th century.
Porcelain.
One of them shows the loss of a finger.
They have a stamp on the base.
Measurements: 17 x 16 x 11 cm.
Ornamental sculptural group made from moulded porcelain and richly decorated with high and low temperature enamels, evoking the sculpture of gallant themes of the rococo period. Thus, we see a pastoral love theme, with two sets of sculptures, both featuring two lovers. This is a piece by the firm Hispania, which was active in Manises between 1941 and 1975.
