After some monographic courses in the School of AAOO Mateo Inurria, he studied Fine Arts at the University of Seville in 1993, graduating with the specialty of engraving and graphic design. In his work has special prominence the drawing, both in his painting and his engravings, and his major influences are symbolism and renaissance painting, but both aesthetically and conceptually, merged with the comic or cinema. In his compositions he seeks an update of universal symbols of classical mythology or literature, from a contemporary point of view. Since the early 90's he begins to exhibit his work in solo exhibitions as well as in countless group exhibitions, mainly in galleries in Cordoba and Seville, and sometimes in the rest of Spain and other countries such as Germany, Belgium or the United States. In 2023 the Cultural Association Art, Archaeology and History, of Cordoba, awarded him the Juan Bernier Prize for his artistic career. In 2024 he was appointed academic by the Royal Academy of Sciences, Fine Arts and Noble Arts of Cordoba. He currently combines artistic creation with painting classes in his studio.
