With overwhelming expressive power, the work reinterprets the iconic Starry Night through a modern lens, where movement takes center stage. The canvas is dominated by a hypnotic palette of blues—ranging from mystical cobalt blue to deep lapis lazuli—that has masterful hallmarks of contrast with the luminosity of the stars in vibrant yellow. In the foreground, the dark, organic silhouette of the cypress tree rises elegantly, serving as an earthly anchor against the swirling majesty of the cosmos.

Trained in Art and Philosophy at the University of Buenos Aires and the University of Paris VIII, Ezequiel Martínez Llaser’s work is grounded in a solid theoretical foundation that engages with a precise and demanding painterly technique.
