The Château Pavie winery is located in the Saint-Émilion appellation in the Bordeaux wine region. In 2012, it was classified in the first level of the Saint-Émilion Wine Classification, as Premier Grand Cru Classé (A), after having been Premier Grand Cru Classé (B) since 1954. Throughout its history, this winery has been distinguished with a Gold Medal at the Paris Universal Exhibitions of 1867, 1889 and 1900, as well as with a Diploma of Honor at those of Liège (1905) and, out of competition, in Bordeaux (1907), among other awards. Its vineyards cover 37 hectares, with Merlot grapes (60%), Cabernet Franc (305) and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%).
