It presents a beige field with a symmetrical and orderly oval design, combining roses in bouquets and scattered in the central area and a profile with garlands, scallops and classical brackets. The border is composed of a single band of neoclassical design. Complementary colors: white and various shades of brown, beige, pink, violet, red, green and yellow.
With mark and date on the stone.
Aubusson wool rugs were first woven by hand in the town of Aubusson from which they take their name. Aubusson style rugs are extremely refined, following 19th century weaving patterns.
The Sert family of Barcelona was one of the owners of the most important textile factories in the city.
