Carved wood, with traces of polychrome.
Measurements: 55 cm. height.
Seated Buddha, worked in round bulk. Its style reflects the artistic tradition of the Ming dynasty. It is a delicately carved, which highlights the robe that falls in broken folds and serene face. The generous belly and the elongated earlobes symbolize happiness and wisdom respectively. The character joins hands in prayerful attitude.
