Born in Motril but raised and educated in Barcelona, Antonio Pineda devoted himself to painting from a very young age, teaching himself the craft while holding various jobs until 1988, when he decided to pursue professionally what had until then been merely a hobby. Since 1977, however, he had begun to showcase his work through exhibitions, which became increasingly frequent starting in the late 1980s. Throughout his career, he has held exhibitions in various locations throughout Spain, as well as in Zurich, Geneva, Paris, Las Vegas, San Diego, and New York.
