Trained at the School of Arts and Crafts of Madrid and later in graphic design and advertising, Nicolás Gless begins to exhibit in 1969 in galleries of the national scene. In 1972 he worked as a graphic designer for the Spanish Museum of Contemporary Art, the General Directorate of Fine Arts and the National Commissariat of Museums and Exhibitions. He also works in the comic sector. He publishes in La Codorniz and other magazines of graphic and literary humor. In 1976 he exhibits at the Multitud Gallery and at the School of Architecture. He collaborates in the Culture section of El País, creating an original style of portraits. Throughout his career as an artist he exhibited in Poland, Vienna and Germany, as well as in Segovia, the city where he lives.
