The ehon musha are books that praise warriors or heroes, real or fictitious, inspired by myths, legends or historical facts of Japan or China. They have been a source of inspiration for manga, anime and video games.
Japanese ukiyo-e artist Tsukioka Settei followed the style of the Kan? school, with Takada Keiho. He was strongly influenced by the work of ukiyo-e artist Nishikawa Sukenobu.
