One of the horse's feet is broken.
Measurements: 18 x 18 x 10 cm.
Llorenç Cairó began his education in 1913 as a marble worker, studying at the Llotja school in Barcelona. A disciple of Bechini, Cairó acquired a great influence and skill in the handling of marble, which would become one of his favorite materials. His work stands out for a classical taste based on symmetry and proportion based on the models of antiquity and an aesthetic based on visual serenity. In 1926 she presented her work with the group Conreadors de les Arts. In 1952 she was awarded the prize of the Diputació de Barcelona for one of her nudes.
