Painter, sculptor and engraver, he began his studies in plastic arts with Aurora de Pietro de Torras in General Belgrano, province of Buenos Aires. He continued his training at the National School of Fine Arts, graduating with the title of National Professor of Drawing in 1949. In 1960, he traveled to Europe and, in 1961, he settled in Paris. He attended the National Salon from 1952 to 1954 and in 1956, 1957 and 1959. In 1960, he traveled to Holland thanks to a scholarship granted by that country and then settled in Paris. Among his works, he was known for his "Neograbados", which are paper reliefs executed on the base of sculptures, and for his series of "huevos de Neofósiles", objects-sculptures made of papier-mâché. He taught at the National School of Fine Arts and acted as an artistic juror. Among his numerous exhibitions, he exhibited at the Havana Biennial; the Brussels Universal Exposition; the First Paris Biennial; One Hundred Years of Argentine Painting in Madrid, Santiago de Chile and Montevideo, in 1960; Argentine Painting in Rio de Janeiro, in 1961; the National Library of Paris, in 1971. He was awarded the de Ridder Prize of the Institute of Modern Art of Buenos Aires, in 1950; the First Municipal Prize of Morón, in 1951; the Honorable Mention at the National Salon, in 1953; the Stimulus Prize at the Buenos Aires Art Salon, in 1956; the First Prize at the National Salon, in 1962; the Grand Prize of Honor at the Santa Fe Salon, in 1964; and the First Prize Lino Spilimbergo, in 1964.
