The one we now present is a Louis XV style table raised on three curved legs with prominent knees embellished with floral applications and foliate motifs in gilded bronze. The uniqueness of the piece lies in its heart-shaped top, whose top is lifted by a secret button that reveals a velvet upholstered compartment. The top is decorated with a large floral cartouche in marquetry bordered by scroll borders.
