Baroque coffee pot made by Hieronymus Wiechert (or Hieronymus Wiechert), a silversmith or master goldsmith who worked in Ottendorf, Lower Saxony, Germany. The specimen in bidding is distinguished by having its vessel and its gadrooned lid. The handles have been manufactured in wood, providing a beautiful contrast to the piece.
