It shows slight scuffing and traces of adhesive on the corners.

This photograph is of particular documentary interest as it captures the historic interior of Els Quatre Gats, one of the main hubs of artistic social life in Modernist Barcelona. The prominent presence of Ramon Casas’s famous tandem bicycle, integrated among the establishment’s original furniture and decor, allows us to reconstruct the close relationship between the venue and the artists in its circle.
The image also preserves a valuable record of the arrangement of paintings, ceramics, and decorative objects that defined the establishment’s visual identity, linked to key figures of Catalan Modernism such as Ramon Casas and Santiago Rusiñol.
