Trained at the School of La Lonja in Barcelona, Lluís Roura made his first individual exhibition in 1970 in Vic. Since 1985 he has exhibited regularly abroad, in important galleries in Venezuela, Russia, France, Austria, the United States, etc. In 1981 he was awarded the Medal of Honor of the Comptessa de Barcelona painting prize. He currently lives and works in L'Escala (Girona). He is represented in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Marmolejo (Jaén), the L'Empordà and in the parish church of Santa María de Banyoles, as well as in several Spanish and foreign private collections.
