The Officina 365 collection by Giuliano Mazzuoli was created as a deeply personal and nostalgic expression. Its origins go back to the designer's childhood memories of playing in his grandfather's machine shop. The tools, with their robust and functional forms, seemed fascinating to him, almost industrial sculptures. This admiration became the conceptual basis for the collection.Mazzuoli wanted to pay tribute to classic hand tools that symbolize precision, craftsmanship and mechanical work well done.
The idea was to reinterpret common tools such as micrometers, milling cutters or threads, transforming them into elegant writing instruments. Thus, elements traditionally associated with mechanical work were given a new life as objects of design and style.
Each pen combines modern materials (such as anodized aluminum) with shapes reminiscent of industrial design, showing that the utilitarian can be aesthetically beautiful.
Made in Italy, these pens maintain a strong link with the country's artisanal tradition, but with a contemporary and innovative vision.
Instead of being simple writing tools, each Officina pen seeks to provoke an emotional and aesthetic reaction in those who use it, being a bridge between memory, creativity and design.
