"Family scene".
Patinated bronze, copy 3/5.

Born in Olot, Lluís Curós was a Catalan artist, disciple of grandfather Berga and Mas Collellmir. He began to work modeling saints, first in "El Arte Cristiano", then in "El Renacimiento" and in "Las Artes Religiosas". In 1942 he set up his studio in Macarnau Street, where he worked until his death modeling commissioned workshop figures. There he also modeled numerous small and medium-sized sculptures. Most of his works are in terracotta and revolve around female themes. On the other hand, among the works of Lluís Curós there are also other portraits of notable figures such as the bust of Joaquín Danés, that of Pare Nolasco El Molar or that of Josep Pla.
