Vinylmation is a brand of collectible vinyl toys, owned by Disney, available in 1.5", 3" and 9" sizes. The name is a fusion of the English words "Vinyl" and "Animation". Most of the figures are molded with the base shape of Mickey Mouse's body (including his round ears), but are decorated with a wide variety of themes, colors and patterns inspired by Disney park attractions, movie characters (such as Marvel or Star Wars) or abstract designs (Urban Series). Although production declined around 2015, the toy line experienced a resurgence in 2022, and collecting and trading of these pieces remains popular among fans, even though Disney discontinued official trading at its parks.
