Sculpture of Indonesian school representing the Hindu god Vishnu, one of the three main gods of the Hindu pantheon, mounted on the shoulders of Garuda, mythological animal venerated both in Hinduism and Buddhism. The expressiveness of the carving and the detail used in describing the necklaces and characteristic attributes of each character stand out. The mythical bird has been characterized with a bird's head and anthropomorphic body except for the clawed feet, and is accompanied by other birds with aggressive faces.
