Three Canton style jugs, XIX century.
Glazed porcelain.
Measurements: 24 / 15 / 12 cm (height of each piece).
Lot consists of a jug and two teapots made of glazed porcelain, decorated with court scenes, floral motifs and animal ornamentation. It has a large cylindrical body and a free spout with a sinuous profile. The handle, in iron, is covered with rope. The city of Canton was one of the most important centers of ceramic production in China. Styles such as the Rose Family determined a before and after at an artistic level and made the city of Canton stand out vertiginously at a commercial level.
