This tweed Single Flap is a representative piece of CHANEL's textile legacy, which since the times of Coco Chanel has elevated tweed from a utilitarian garment to a symbol of luxury. The use of the fabric in handbags, especially in vintage models, is less common than in leather, making this version a rare collector's item. Its rich texture and color palette - often composed of interwoven threads of various colors and materials - lend a unique, feminine aesthetic and strong visual character. The single flap design, lighter and more practical than the Double Flap, adds functionality without sacrificing the maison's classic style.
With more than a century of history, CHANEL has preserved and reinterpreted its distinctive materials, and this bag is a clear example of the savoir-faire applied to one of its most iconic codes: tweed.
