The Flight Mode collection was conceived as a direct tribute to Louis Vuitton’s origins as the leading manufacturer of travel trunks in the 19th century. Instead of maintaining the usual understated look of the plain canvas, the brand decided to revive the tradition of aristocratic travelers from the 1920s and 1930s, who decorated their suitcases with stamps and stickers from the hotels and countries they visited. By adding these graphics, the accessory takes on a highly sought-after duality.
