Made of ivory-colored leather with gold-tone hardware. Features the brand name embossed on the front and a metal GG emblem. Button closure and bamboo top handles, a signature detail of the brand.
Includes a detachable fabric strap.
In very good condition, with very slight signs of use.
Measurements: 22 x 26 x 11 cm.
Originally launched in 1991 as a roomy tote bag with curved bamboo handles, it quickly became the go-to accessory of Diana, Princess of Wales. Lady Di frequently carried it on her everyday outings around London, pairing it with athletic wear, sweatshirts, and cycling shorts, defying traditional royal codes. In July 2021, to mark what would have been the princess’s 60th birthday, the brand’s then-creative director, Alessandro Michele, reimagined the silhouette, officially naming it the Gucci Diana.
