Speedy Monogram Multicolor Bag.
Made of multicolor Monogram canvas on a white background. Front pocket with a metallic flap closure. Short brown leather handles, matching the trim and other decorative details. Zipper closure. Interior lined in maroon suede.
In excellent condition.
Measurements: 22 x 31.5 x 18 cm.
The Speedy is undoubtedly Louis Vuitton’s signature bag, available in numerous versions and sizes and first introduced in the 1930s as a smaller version of the Keepall travel bag. In 2002, Japanese artist Takashi Murakami (1962) was invited by designer Marc Jacobs to collaborate with Louis Vuitton. He created several print designs, among which his reinterpretation of the iconic Monogram stands out, transforming the traditional two-tone design into a world of color and fantasy.
