Made of red calfskin. With gold-tone hardware. Flap closure with a magnetic button adorned with the brand’s emblem and a metal tassel. Lined interior with a pocket.

The Saint Laurent Kate Monogram Clutch is one of the most iconic, coveted, and timeless evening accessories from the French luxury fashion house Yves Saint Laurent. The soul of the Kate bag is, without a doubt, its iconic interlocking YSL logo. This monogram was designed in December 1961 by the renowned Franco-Ukrainian graphic designer Adolphe Mouron, known artistically as Cassandre. Shortly after its launch, the design evolved to include a variation that became just as famous as the original: the version with a tassel. Inspired by Eastern influences and Yves Saint Laurent’s Opium collection from the 1970s, a striking tassel made of metallic threads was added just below the Cassandre logo.
