Trained at the Sant Jordi School of Fine Arts in Barcelona, Rovira Brull exhibited with the Artistas Gracienses in 1948, took part in the Salones de Octubre in Barcelona between 1954 and 1956, and in 1955 founded the group Sílex together with Carles Planell, Eduardo Alcoy, Luis Terricabras and Joan Hernández Pijuan. Starting from a certain impressionism, his language evolved in a fantastic and tremendist line. As a member of the Zen advertising team, he later evolved towards neoplasticism, finally returning to the fantastic style of his first period from 1975 onwards. He also worked as an illustrator, collaborating with publications such as "Tele-Estel", and held exhibitions in different cities in Europe and America.
