The Cliquetis scarf, created by designer Julia Abadie, was launched by Hermès in 1972. This design features a composition of swords, muskets and other equestrian elements arranged in the shape of a fan, inspired by Émile Hermès' collection of weapons. The term "Cliquetis" refers to the metallic sound of the objects represented.
