The Les Sangles scarf by Hermès is a silk scarf designed by artist Joachim Metz, a piece that pays homage to one of the most iconic elements of the house’s origins: the straps and girths used in the manufacture of harnesses and equestrian equipment. Through an elegant and meticulously arranged composition, the design celebrates the artisanal tradition that has defined Hermès since its founding in Paris in 1837 as a workshop specializing in equestrian goods.
