In 1934, Enric Riera founded in Barcelona a buoyant glassworks specializing in glass decoration. In it worked multiple enamelers (Àngel Segura Solé, who had been a decorator in the company of Genís Cirera, Miquel Fruitós, Josep Martínez or Rosa Claramunt, in addition to draftsmen and decorators. They worked the glass in an exceptional way, creating striking and aesthetic designs that earned a place in the national glass market of the early twentieth century. The workshop closed its doors in 1962.
