Alberto de las Heras is a self-taught artist focused on drawing and illustration, whose work is characterized by a strong figurative imprint crossed by surrealist elements. His initial training includes dramatic art and fashion design, disciplines that have influenced the scenographic and narrative character of his compositions.
She began her career in Bilbao, where she worked for the decoration store FLODEC and participated in group exhibitions in spaces such as general catalog and Bilboarte. Later, his work was shown in Valencia, at the Wunder K gallery, and he made the international leap with an exhibition at the Werkstattgalerie gallery in Berlin. Since 2010 he lives and works in Madrid, where he has consolidated his presence in the contemporary art scene with exhibitions in spaces such as Los Jueves de AGATHA, La Casa de la Carne, Mad is Mad and La Fresh Gallery.
His work is distinguished by the creation of dreamlike atmospheres in which architecture, cinematographic references and elements of pop culture converge. In parallel, he has developed collaborations with fashion designers such as Carlos Díez and Antonio Alvarado, integrating his graphic universe in the field of textile creation.
