Founded in 1950 by Jacques Roche, Roche Bobois focused from the beginning on the distribution of the best French contemporary furniture specialists, strongly inspired by the Bauhaus, such as Minvielle, Steiner or Airborne, and also on the edition of the projects of famous designers such as Pierre Paulin or Marc Berthier. In the sixties it opened its catalog to Scandinavian design, and today it remains one of the most prominent international firms in the field of publishing and selective distribution of furniture.
